    Cute DollGreat doll. Great size and quality. My son loves playing with it. The hispanic doll is definitely darker than a majority of latinos though. The skin tone is like a medium or lighter African-American or Afro-Latino. In the pic I posted, both dolls are from the same manufacturer. The smaller doll is "African-American" and the larger doll is "Hispanic". You can see how closely the skin tone is. My son is a bit lighter, but I don't really care. It is close enough to his skin tone and I think it's a beautiful doll. Not a big deal. Black is beautiful - all shades. :-) 4Great doll for the priceI spent days reading reviews and researching before deciding on this doll for my two year old. We wanted a realistic looking doll to help her get ready for her new sibling and this fits the bill nicely. The limbs are a softer plastic that has a little give and the body is fabric and cuddly. The head will squish when squeezed or stepped on but it pops right back out so it isn't a problem. The eyes are life like but a little bright and the skin tone is what i would call fair to medium. It doesn't look specifically caucasion nor specifically anything else with it's neutral skintone and dark colored "hair" (really just texturing in the plastic but it looks good) this is a plus for our mixed race family with dolls that look like my South Asian (Nepal)/White daughter being very hard to find. The outfit is a bit flimsy and has begun to "pill" with two weeks of play but it washes in the washer and dryer just fine. Doll fits into premie sized clothes and newborn sized regular diapers. 4Perfect for a toddlerMy daughter got this doll for her third birthday and is in love with it. The hands, face and feet are very realistic but having the soft boy makes her cuddly and soft too. The attached pacifier fits well and it's nice not to have to hunt it down every time she wants to use it. It is the perfect size for a toddler and fist in her doll bed and doll highchair perfectly. I also purchased a reusable diaper cover so she could change her baby's diaper and this one adjusts down small enough to fit. We were looking for a truly washable doll so we went with purchasing this item as it states that it is washable. While this is true, it is misleading. The middle part of this doll is fabric which would be difficult to maintain (dry) everyday if we were to bathe it everyday. That is defeating the purpose for us. Unfortunately, I did not open the box until this weekend but my return when had already expired. Bottom line: if you are looking for a truly washable baby doll that would be easy to dry everyday - this is not the right product.Overall well made, just wish the title was not misleading. 3Cute doll - well made!My husband is of Mexican descent, and my son's first baby doll was a Caucasian female. I thought it would be nice for him to have a doll that had skin color similar to his own. It's a well made doll, with a soft cloth body (my son preferred the molded plastic body of his first doll because it seemed more real). Doll I received was not the same as shown on Amazon. Our doll came with a different outfit and did not include the pacifier as shown on Amazon. Supplier was not JC Toys. It was something totally different. I kept the doll since my Daughter wanted to open the packaging and play with it. I would ve given a lower rating, but my daughter loved the doll even though it was not the correct doll and I found it to be a cute doll and she s Asian just like my Daughter 3A real comfort, lovely doll!After being inspired by the person that wrote about getting this dall for their mother with dementia (or alzheimers? I can't quite remember) I decided to buy this doll for myself, a 24 year old. I've struggled with depression and other issues since I was put in a life threatening situation and medication can only go so far. I've longed for a companion but I find I can't trust anymore and I'm in a situation where I simply can't have a pet. I always loved dolls as a child and I've never lost that enthusiasm for them. I know it's not real, duh, but this doll has helped me to feel less lonely and like I have something to care for besides myself. Even if it is just an elaborate game of imagination, I have found it helpful. I mostly just project my internal feelings of distress on the doll and I "comfort" him but really it's just an odd way I've found to comfort myself and talk things out. Sorry for the tangent, but this is a great doll. Be it for play or some kind of strange personal therapy, I'd highly recommend this doll to anyone. 5... my mom who has Alzheimer's and it was the best thing I could have done for herI bought this for my mom who has Alzheimer's and it was the best thing I could have done for her! I know this isn't the typical review, but had to share! 5Beautiful baby dollThe doll arrived sooner than expected. Ordered the 16" Asian baby doll for my classroom. She the most gorgeous face wearing a white outfit with tiny pink flowers. She feels so soft. The children in my classroom will love her so much I will have to order another one. Great gift for kids. 5Lovely doll - (not preemie-sized)I was so pleasantly surprised when this doll arrived. It's great quality, and I'm so excited to give it to my boys to help them prepare for their new baby brother.The doll is pleasantly weighty. It's a soft, squeezable plastic up to the knees, elbows, and neck (though it's not a realistic-feeling silicone). The torso, upper arms, and upper legs are stuffed fabric that looks like unbleached cotton and does not approximately match the doll's skintone. The detail in the plastic parts is great.... The eyes have depth to them like old school glass eyes, though they're plastic, and the face, and chubby little hands and feet are adorable.The clothes are thin and simple - nothing to write home about, but they'll do. I do wish the blue (presumably boy) clothes weren't floral-patterned, but it's really not super noticeable. It should be noted that the clothes are difficult for a 3.5 year old to take off and put on, mostly because the velcro front only goes from the neck to about the belly button area. I always end up helping with "diaper changes" as a result. (The doll doesn't come with diapers - I made some.)I've seen a lot of people asking whether preemie clothes would fit this doll. We had some preemie items stored from our second baby, so I tried them on. The clothes are far too big for the doll; preemie clothes are intended for babies up to about 5lbs and 18" long. This doll is ~16", which is about the length of a baby born at 30 weeks or so.Also, a general PSA regarding buying used preemie clothes for dolls... If you really want to use preemie clothes for dolls, please buy them new instead of clearing out the consignment shops. Preemie parents likely didn't expect to need preemie clothes, are probably dealing with steep medical bills, and suddenly need to find clothing in a hurry. Please be considerate before snatching up the limited supply of affordable preemie clothes just for your kiddo to play with. 5
