This race game from ancient Egypt was also called the Snake Game, a reference to its coiled game board artwork. Unusual for early board games, its a multi-player game for up to six players. The race is from the outer edge of the spiral path to the center, and then back again, with several rules of movement as they go. Most significant, though, is that once a player completes that race, they start the race again with a Lion and attempt to eat the other players pieces before they can finish. So, theres a winner, but then there are also the survivors of the Lion attacks. Like most ancient games, there are variations in how the game might be played. Definitely more than the usual race game! Made in USA for 2-6 players age 8+.
