Carnage is an alient Symbiote that came from Cletus Kasady merging with Venom's offspring. Symbiotes are amorphous, liquid-like form that requires a host, usually human, to bond with for its survival. After bonding, it bestows its power on the host. The combination of Cletus Kasady and Venoms offspring created one of the most vicious super villain in the Spiderman universe.
Carnage is a psychopath with no moral sense and becomes Venom's nemesis in the Spiderman series.
